Disability
Insurance is “money machine” or income insurance. There are many myths or “untruths”
that people have about disability insurance so when I read this article, I
thought I should share it with my clients and readers. Here’s myth # 2:
Myth No. 2: Consumers could get by financially
if they were disabled for lengthy time.
A majority of employees
(67 percent) in the CDA survey identified income as one of the most-important
things in their lives. But only 28 percent of employees identified income as something
important to protect. And
just 43 percent report having some sort of income protection. This finding
seriously disturbs me. Less than 40 percent of adults in a2014
Bankrate survey said they would have enough on-hand in a
savings or checking account to pay for a $1,000 emergency room visit or car
repair. So where’s the money going to come from?
I don’t offer
protection to people for the money; I truly do this to help other people. If
you have questions about whether you can qualify for disability insurance,
regardless where you live in USA, give me a call. We’ll work together via your
computer and I’ll show you how you can easily afford to protect what I call
your “money machine”. If your money machine (you) weren’t able to go to work
for a week or a month, how long could you keep your car, house and other things
you need to live?
Contact me
and let’s talk! Make it a great day! Terry L Scott
