Terry Scott offers "No Cost Assistance" to navigate through ObamaCare.

I helped many people navigate through the HealthCare.gov site this year to get signed up to get health insurance (or not) and many times was not paid for my efforts. But that's OK, I got in this business to help others. It's because of this that my business has grown over 100% from last year at this time!

Also... I offer NO COST ASSISTANCE... to navigate through ObamaCare (or ACA; whatever you want to call it):

I work with nationally recognized insurance companies to give you the quality, affordable insurance you’re looking for. We promise never to spam you or sell your information. Best of all, my assistance is no cost to you. Call me today (details at website) and let me find the right insurance for you.

My business has been built mostly on referrals and now unless a new client is referred to me, or they find me through my marketing and are serious about their life situation to meet with me, I don't meet with them. And it's so easy now to meet with clients; many times for the initial meeting we'll converse over the phone and share computer screens (no worries, I can't see your screen, but you can see mine).

One recent study found that a brisk, 20-minute daily walk appeared to lower the risk of premature death.

Here's a great article about walking for health and life!

If you sit a lot, walk a lot
According to the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, adults should engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic activity every week. Sadly, almost half of Americans don’t meet those recommendations. Moreover, a new study shows that sitting for prolonged periods of time raises the risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
So what’s the solution to this pair of problems? Walk, says a growing number of health experts. While activities like jogging, swimming, tennis and basketball are terrific forms of exercise, not everyone can withstand the rigors of those sports. But brisk walking—and even small breaks away from your desk to walk around a bit—can make a significant impact on your health if you make it a habit.

Terry Scott Insurance Agent Life and Health Superior Wisconsin

I wanted to share a quick story about a conversation that I had with someone today. I congratulated her on her commitment to continue her education and graduate to follow her dream. She thanked me and told me that there was no way that she could ever do what I do (meaning selling Life and Health insurance); it's way too hard. I told her that it's like anything else. You just love people, love what you do, and everyone loves doing business with someone like that.

It's a crazy thing for me now as an insurance professional. People come to me, I seldom "go to them". My business has been built on referrals and I seldom take a client unless they have been referred or they found me through my website or other marketing.

When people come to me, they want the products that I have; they are not "tire kickers". I have aligned myself with the business "insurance solutions" company, with the best leaders, fellow agents and best products and that is why people come to me.

With so many things going for me; this is easy and definitely not hard!

Make it a great day!

Open enrollment has ended, but the following article still contains some great information. Furthermore, there is a new Special Enrollment Period (SEP) that was just made available; you may qualify. Go here to ask about it.

Here are 4 things to keep in mind before open enrollment ends.
1. Costs have changed
2. Plan details often change
3. Don’t overdo subsidy calculations
4. Don’t delay
There are just a few weeks of open enrollment left, and the time to act is now.
“I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to stay ahead of the calendar. Waiting until the last minute – specifically the last few days – is risky and problematic because of the sheer volume of people trying to enroll through agents or directly through the government,” says Michael Z. Stahl, senior vice president of the private health insurance marketplace, HealthMarkets.
