Insurance Agent, Terry Scott will not offer Health Insurance through Obamacare this season...

ANNOUNCEMENT from Insurance Agent, Terry Scott.

This is a notice to inform my current (and prospective) clients that (for the year 2015-2016 season; November 15th to December 7th) I will NOT offer Health Insurance (Either through Obamacare or MNSure; which is basically Obamacare but for Minnesota residents) or Medicare (over age 65) products, at least for this year.

As a “life and legacy” coach my business model is helping people in many areas and I offer insurance products to my clients as part of those overall services. With this intent, I will still offer insurance products that cover the exposures that everyone has even after they’ve complied with government laws to have Obamacare to help cover those very high deductibles. Plus, I will gladly refer you to another agent who offers these products if you request it. I remain available to answer any questions you have about any of these products however, I will not provide them and as stated, will direct you to another agent.

I will continue to offer financial options for your financial well-being.

To see the list of products I offer to help you survive and strive for your health and wealth, please see my webpage: www.terscott.com/lifeandlegacy

Thanks for you understanding.

Anyone else having trouble with completing courses in the Marketplace Learning Management System?

Am I the only one having trouble with completing the course in the Marketplace Learning Management System so I can enroll people in the Obamacare?

I finished first “intro” module and got knocked out of the entire site. Then I called a number and they stated that there is no help via phone and only via email. So I emailed and waited. In the meantime I was able to get back in again after going around in circles and through many pages.
That was last week.

Today I complete the second (I think it was the second one) and the same thing happened. Now I know to expect this with this site so I did everything all over again to get in; I have to “agree and accept” and log in again and then find the page to click on “return to agent training”, then I had to again agree to all of my profile was correct and finally I could click on “next” and opened a page listing my courses to complete.

Great, this takes a lot of time but OK, I do this. Then I get to page 10 of 15 in the exam and get knocked out from the site during the test!!!!! Really?????

Then I attempt all of these steps over again to try to get back to where I was and get this message: The CMS Enterprise Portal is currently not available due to an outage. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please try back later. Feel free to contact the CMS Help Desk if you have any questions.

So I “play” around some more and I managed to find the exam area again and guess what….? I have to start again from the beginning of the test!!!!! I WAS ALREADY ON PAGE 10 OF 15!!!
I started this at 4:30 today and now it's 6:15. I still have many more modules (and exams) to complete.

Emailing someone requesting help is really NO HELP. This is very frustrating to say the very least. Who created this piece of crap??? This site needs help in simple navigation principles so one can move easily from one module and when they are completed with it they can simply move on to the next.

Why??? Why, why? I’m simply trying to get this completed so I can move on with my life. This should not have to be an exercise in frustration…

3 Ways to Get it Today

There are three ways you can get the course and start learning better:

A while ago I read your article on holistic learning, and also downloaded the e-book. I was a first year university student then and had gotten through high school mainly by memorization and late night cramming. When I got to university, I nearly failed most of my courses. I was taking an introductory course for organic chemistry, general physics, etc. and the load was too much for my previous study tactics. It was the first time that I would study well in advance and still perform horribly on an exam, and pretty dark time for me.

I appreciate your articles because they gave me hope that maybe the problem was not that I was not cut out for my chosen profession, or that I should give up on a lifelong goal, but instead there was a problem with the way I was organizing things. The next semester, I came across your articles during midterm exams, and I've certainly been doing a lot better.

ObamaCare Facts: I am under age of 26, can I claim myself as a dependent and still be under my parent's plan?

I had a (young) friend ask me about this so I pass it on to my readers:
Do my parents have to claim me as a dependent on their taxes
for me to stay on their insurance plan?
FACTS ABOUT
Health coverage for adults
(ObamaCare refers to them “children”) under 26:

The Affordable Care Act requires insurance companies to cover young adults on their parent’s plan until age 26 if the plan offers dependent coverage, regardless of your tax status, student status, state of residence, or marital status. In other words, you do not need to be a tax dependent of your parents to continue to be covered as a dependent on their health plan.

If a plan covers children, they generally can be added to or kept on a parent's health insurance policy until they turn 26 years old.
Children can join or remain on a parent's plan even if they are:
  • ·         Married
  • ·         Not living with their parents
  • ·         Attending school
  • ·         Not claimed as a dependent on their parent’s tax return
  • ·         Eligible to enroll in their employer’s plan

These rules apply to both job-based plans and individual plans bought inside or outside the Marketplace.
Note: Some states and plans use different maximum coverage ages. Check with your plan to find out how long an adult child can stay on your plan.
I’m available to assist people in navigating the HealthCare.gov portal. I do this for people at no cost to them. After you are safely enrolled in Obama Care (so you won’t have to pay the penalty) we can then get all those other exposures taken care of for you (like helping you to be able to pay those Obamacare high deductibles, etc.). Again, I don’t charge you for that either, the companies that I recommend you for products that you determine meet your needs, pay me a commission.
I will even help people to re-enroll this year; doing this on your own can create problems as some of my clients found out last year. Again, I don’t charge for this service and I work with you by having you share my computer screen so you can do this without leaving your home.
I’m scheduling time now with clients so I can help them when enrollment opens. I’m licensed in WI and MN but I will only work with people in Minnesota who are past clients or referred to me by a client.
Call and leave your name and phone number at 888-241-4031 if you are interested.

Is the "Learn More Study Less" Program a Scam?

I'm recommending this ebook because I believe it to be of great value for anyone trying to learn something, especially if you're a student. Scott has taken the process of learning and has hit upon the methods that most quick learners use, breaking it down into easily understandable and practical steps that any of us can implement. If you want to learn like the best learners do--the people who make learning seem easy, like Scott--this method will help you get there."

“I've since used Scott's resources to develop my learning technique. Learning becomes easier and fun because of how I now retain information 10x better.”

Thank you for existing. When, I read Learn More, Study Less I was a mess. I had no direction except school, and even that made me miserable. Despite being in advanced programs during highschool, I was only a C student. I wasn't doing too much better in college. Until that is, my friend lent me your book.

Learn More, Study Less made sense--it didn't sound like bullshit. I used you as motivation. Any time a moment seemed to hard, or too stressful, I'd whip open your blog and read something. Before I knew it, I was back hard at work.

Now I am a completely different person. I live a blessed, full, life now. I can't thank you enough, but I'm of the belief that people who deserve thanks very rarely hear it. So, here it is: Thank you Scott, for everything you have done.

"I read your book, Learn More, Study Less, and it totally blew my reality I used to memorize everything before, now I'm using holistic learning. I recommend that everyone reads your book. You have many satisfied customers"

I have read Learn More, Study Less, and I think it's great, and has certainly helped, and continues to help me learn better than I had been.
